Have seen US brand Sugarpill everywhere at the mo so I decided to take a look. I've been looking for a matte, highly pigmented bright yellow for ages and *ta da!* I spot buttercupcake pressed eyeshadow.
I ordered online from Love Make Up and my package arrived two days later, v easy. So to the product...
Good times:
Fab packaging
Good size
Velvety texture
Strong pigment
Fabulous colour that drew loads of compliments!
Reasonabley priced at £7.99
Bad times:
Although I adore the colour it is quite 'egg yolk' on my skin tone rather than neon yellow so next time I'll pack on a lot more layers to try and build up the colour
I also got a couple more products (had to make the most of the £2.95 p+p!) so will review when I use them...
Face
Bobbi brown corrector, light to medium bisque
Rimmel hide the blemish concealer, 002 sand
Mac select sheer pressed powder, nc25
Urban decay eyeshadow primer potion
Mac eyebrow pencil, lingering
Sleek blush, life's a peach
Eyes
Sugarpill pressed eyeshadow, buttercupcake
MUA shade 17
Maybelline great lash mascara, very black
Lips
Carmex
The colour density of that shadow is pretty impressive - it's very spring-y and pretty without being pastel. It looks great with your eye colour too.
ReplyDeleteI dither on Sugarpill all the time - usually I'm neutrals all the way, but every so often I crave COLOUR.
Great blog - I look forward to reading more!
Thanks Grace! I love colourful eyes - am trying to find the perfect lime green at the moment - not too shimmer, not too pastel. Its certainly a challenge! x
